So I finally got Castaway Stories and I like it for the most part, but it's driving me nuts that I can't use custom hair or makeup (for nose masks, freckles, etc.). I made sure to enable them and restarted the game, but the only things showing up are the default replacements. Maxis hair is teh gross >.>

Also, I thought I was going to be able to start working on the Cutler update but some heavy RL stuff has presented itself today. Well, more like yesterday but the shit really hit the fan tonight. Ever meet a man that is a complete fucking selfish bastard and all you'd like to do is shoot him in the fucking face? Seriously. Every time he throws a tantrum like a kid he makes me hate him a little more, but this just takes the cake. He doesn't deserve to be a father. In fact, he doesn't deserve anyone in his life. Fucking bastard.[/end rant] Sorry. I've just been dealing with this BS since last summer and it's steadily getting worse because of that asshole.

ANYHOW. Yay for The Sims loading in a timely fashion.

I mentioned on my craptacular twitter the other day that I was working on a new skintone for lovely Mr. Larson. I ended up just slapping Aikea's hair overlay onto an Ephemera skin, blending a peggy face onto it so he would still look the same. Although he still did look fairly close without it. Then I put his tattoos on moraque's overlay box so they wouldn't be passed down to the kidlet (omg, red hair PLEASE!). It'll take time getting used to, mainly because his pecks are no longer so massive and strange. It got seraphic_slayer's approval anyway xD



He seems a little scrawny in comparison but at least he looks less greasy. Or as seraphic said, the "after sex sheen", lmao. I love that guy! xD Of course I can't really use it until part 18 when it skips a couple months as really, body hair doesn't magically reappear in a couple days. I'm still debating if I want his hair to be considerably longer or not, hmm...

As for Castaways you should totally be able to use it as long as it doesn't require EPs. I know I used a custom hair, eyes, AND freckles and that's the Sim that I used to play! O_o

XD That is about as much body hair as I can take. I don't like those overlays from the adult site where they're like apes or something. Ugh, way too much for me. It was funny though, when I was on the laptop testing it out I turned to my husband and said, "omg doesn't look so sexy now??" I got the O.o look, haha!

I know, that's what I don't understand. I only dropped in the default eyes, skins and eybrows, with maybe three hair sets and rensim's nose kits. I don't get it... is there a thing to run like the cep or something? I'll have to try again later.

I wish I could say I knew it would but I really doubt it. This guy is hurting his son in so many ways and he doesn't even care, he's only thinking about himself. Yesterday he pretty much disowned him because he didn't want to vacuum (the thing is broken anyway...) or anything else on the ridiculously long list of chores (now I know kids need chores to teach responsibility but this man wants a MAID now that the wife is gone, who is the one that did everything before). He wont talk to the kid and he changed the fucking code on the door lock so he couldn't get in! Is that excessive or what?!

The guy needs serious help.

You need to get on MSN more. ):< I haven't been on Steam lately cause those folks are just annoying me too much...but. My stand on his skin? The abs are good. The pecks...I think they need to be worked on. Lowered a bit, possibly? I don't know. I'll have a look at it if you want. I think the ribs are too much. Fiddle with the opacity of a non-ribbed body over them? See if it looks a little less like he's anorexic. xD
The body hair? I'm repulsed by body hair so I'm not really going to comment on that. but I don't think it matters whether you wait before showing off the skin or not because it's Sims. You change them occasionally. Nobody's going to have a heart attack if they don't have the same exact skintone between updates.
Um. I'm rambling I think, because I haven't had enough sleep all week.
I feel like his eyes need to be resized. But maybe that's because my favorite eyeset that I've been using for defaults are large and I'm considering resizing them. And they need more colors. But I know nothing about doing that shit so I don' teven know.

I was on the other night and you didn't say anything =P I haven't been on Steam either with the exception of an hour or so yesterday. Thomas bitched at me for ignoring him on Tuesday but it wasn't even me playing. OF COURSE WALLY IS GOING TO IGNORE A RAVING LUNATIC SCREAMING AT HIM! Goddamn.

Hmm yeah, now that I look at it the ribs do stand out quite a bit, but maybe it's because of the darkened hair? I could just overlay the soft body's rib area over so it's not so prominent. I'm a little sad the back tattoo ends up covering the back though. I love the backs on this skintone series =/

I COULD do it now but there's no way he could stop waxing and have a bunch of hair in like... 2 days or whatever it's been, it'll be a bit silly. If he was going to be keeping his shirt on it wouldn't be a problem but erm... yeah.
