TS3 Pics

To kill some time today (it was ridiculously humid which makes for a crabby and useless Yui) I played The Sims 3 for a while. At first I had a hard time holding interest in the game but after fixing up their house I was feeling a little more optimistic. I ended up playing for about five or six hours and the second generation has finally become a teen.

Haha yeah, he's quite scary! At first I thought he was just mad all the time but then I remembered his mom has some odd brows too. He wants to be a writer; I wonder how well that would go at signings and stuff, lmao.

LOL!! I love the faces in the Sims 3. A lot of people don't but *shrug*. Sure it's not the same as Sims 2 but I actually PLAY the Sims 3.

I like some of the faces, others not so much. Like Gavin up there, the father, makes really funny ones. He's got the insane trait though :P

Lol, I wouldn't want to either! I changed his brows a little while ago so he's not quite so scary anymore =P

So, how are you liking The Sims 3 so far?  I'm pretty much not played The Sims 2 since it came out.  :x

At first I didn't like it very much. I thought they all looked like Pixar people and it was hard for me to get passed that. Then I got eye and skin replacements and although I suck at making interesting looking people, I think they look a LOT better. It has feeling more inclined to play, and they're not my stressful Cutlers so that gives it extra points.

Sim appearance aside, I love the scenery and all the new traits to make our people way more interesting. I seem to spend way more time on getting them up the career ladder than anything, which does get repetitive of course, but after a while I tried to focus more on the family. I'm currently trying to get the family above a little girl. They've had three boys and if the next one is too, well, she better be up for another round =P

Career building is a lot more interesting due to all the ways you can advance, but I've really been enjoying gardening!  My only gripe is the lack of items, but they obviously intend on pimping out numerous expansions, heh.

Try feeding her watermelon or foods that contain watermelon.  Apparently, watermelons will raise your chances to have girls, while apples will raise your chance to have boys.  Which makes sense because one of my families had all boys (5 of them, ugh!) and pretty much subsisted on apple pancakes, ha ha.

I haven't even tried the gardening yet. I think one of them had the want to learn though.

Haha, no wonder! That's pretty much all they eat =P
